How Qembara prices experiences and what you pay.
Simple Summary
Every experience price is built from the Host's fee plus a Qembara fee set for that market. The Final Guest Price — the all-in amount you pay — is always shown clearly before you pay. There are no hidden charges added afterwards.
Each experience price is built in a few clear steps, ending in the Final Guest Price you see before paying.

| Convert to SGD | The Host Fee is converted to Singapore Dollars (SGD) — our single source of truth — at the active exchange rate. |
| + Qembara Fee | A market-level Qembara Fee is added on top (see section 2). |
| = Final Guest Price | The total you pay, shown before payment and presented in your selected display currency. |
The Qembara Fee supports the platform: curation, secure payments, guest and host support, safety and dispute handling, and continued investment in the marketplace.
The fee is set per market and may be a percentage of the Host Fee or a fixed amount. It is reviewed and approved internally before it takes effect, and it is always reflected in the Final Guest Price you see before paying.
Where a valid promo code applies, the discount is applied to the Final Guest Price and shown clearly before payment.
Promo codes may carry conditions — for example a minimum spend, an expiry date, a usage limit, or eligibility limited to specific experiences or markets. A code that does not meet its conditions will not be applied.
Hosts receive the Host Fee for confirmed bookings, subject to Qembara's Payment Terms and any applicable deductions. The Qembara Fee is retained by Qembara.
Qembara fees are managed centrally and may change over time. Fee changes carry an effective date and are reviewed before they are activated.
A fee change never affects a booking you have already confirmed — the price shown to you at checkout is the price that applies to that booking.
